Bo Hammond has been a summer camp counselor, civic educator, and tour guide. He is an expert of American History with a bachelor's degree from American University located in America’s capital city. His favorite color is red, white, blue and he once saved an American Bald Eagle from a fire caused by irresponsible smokers. Interesting facts about Bo include traveling across Europe as the 11th Doctor, dressing up like a pirate to fight cancer, and he is a founder of Tours for Humanity. He believes in good stories and that business must be a force for good.

Lisa Maurer

Lisa Maurer is a founder of Tours for Humanity, a world travel enthusiast and a management consultant at the world's fifth largest accounting firm. She is an expert in politics and business with a degree in Political Science from James Madison University and a MBA from Trinity College Dublin. Interesting facts about Lisa include beating cancer with the ferocity of a bald eagle, unknowingly sharing a guinness with the Prime Minister of Ireland, shaking hands with the Dalai Llama, living in Ireland and Italy, and traveling to over 15 foreign countries. She believes in the power of stories to inspire and writes a blog about her battle with cancer.    

 

Nate Bronstein

Nate Bronstein has been a summer camp counselor, a social entrepreneur, a science teacher with Teach for America and the Bald Eagle Expert as a member of the Philadelphia Zoo, “Zoo Crew”. Nate is an expert of American culture with two bachelor’s degrees from American University in Political Science and International Relations and a masters in education from UPenn. Interesting facts about Nate include being hired as a Jedi party entertainer for a senator’s child’s birthday party.  Nate believes in the power of people and that positive values are an anchor of society.

 

Michael Celorio

Michael Celorio is a young professional whose expertise includes International Relations and US Politics. His interests in these two areas provided him with opportunities to work and travel extensively in the Asia Pacific region. Some of his highlights from his time overseas are teaching US history to 4-Star South Korean generals and working with refugees fleeing from Iraq, Syria and North Korea. As a proud resident of Washington, DC, Michael enjoys exposing visitors to all the city has to offer, including some crazy stuff that nobody teaches in US history class. In his spare time, Michael toils for hours trying to write funny quips about bald eagles to insert into his bio. 

Rob Masiello

The Philosopher Guide

 

 

Rob Masiello is a student of Philosophy and Psychology and received his dual degrees at American University in DC. As a advocate of F. Bacon’s famous dictum “Knowledge is Power,” he believes the pursuit of knowledge can be its own force for good. In Tours for Humanity, Rob hopes to encourage others in their pursuit of knowledge and, in doing so, help to make the world a better place. In his spare time Rob teams up with the eagle Bo saved from that fire, and together they fight crime and keep watch over the streets of DC.
